Millstone Children's Ministry

We are excited to introduce Millstone Children's Ministry! 

We chose this title from Mark 9:42And whosoever shall offend one of these little ones that believe in me, it is better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he were cast into the sea. 

Jesus was very plain and strait-forward when He made this statement. So as a church we gratefully accept the responsibility to provide a spiritual garden for our children to grow and flourish in.

The Lord has blessed our church with Carl and Kim Dockins and this precious couple will be leading our children's ministry. The Dockins family has already been a blessing to our congregation and I know God will continue to use them as they endeavor to point these children to Christ. Carl is a former Pastor and a wonderful preacher, and sister Kim is a teacher and absolutely amazing with the children... together they make a very capable and effective team. Will you please pray for this couple as they lead Millstone Ministry?

Among other things such as Sunday School and a homeschool co-op, we are beginning a Wednesday evening Bible club for our children ages k4 - 8th grade. This club will run along with the school year and offer participating children an authentic, biblical foundation whereby they can build their lives upon.

The club will meet for one hour between 7:00 & 8:00 Wednesday evenings.

May we never forget that Jesus said in Mark 10:14... Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.
