Weaker by the Second

Galatians 6:8-9 "For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not."

So many people who claim to be Christians are getting weaker and more weary by the second. They don't usually leave our churches and fellowships, they just simply sit among us dead and lifeless with extremely compromised home lives.

I've grown weary and I know what it means to feel cold and even numb at times... but giving over to the rotten deeds of the flesh is never the answer to finding rest and joy, neither are we to loosen up on our God given convictions, if our convictions are grievous then they are performed out of obligation and not loving, trusting confidence. Any religious life lived outside of Christ will produce nothing more than duty. If you are weak and tired of living righteously; then I would wonder where I last saw Christ and run to Him.

So as the old Moravian quote states... "Our Lamb has conquered, Let us follow Him"

Evangelist David Bane

We are excited to be having Missionary Evangelist, David Bane and his dear wife be with us this coming Sunday Evening May 20th. at 6:00 pm. He will be sharing the work that God has given him to do here at home and in other lands. New Ministry Sign

We are so excited about the new message sign that God has blessed us with. It has been placed near the new Easley High School that will open in Fall 2012... this road is a very heavy traffic area and many young people will pass this sign going back and forth to school daily. Our desire and goal is to use this sign to provoke those who pass by to think about their lives and walk with Christ. Please help us pray as we use this sign to try and reach our community for the glory of God.

Soul Winning Classes

Each Wednesday night in the month of May our assistant pastor brother Chad Bates will be teaching classes on soul winning. Everyone is welcome as we learn to increase our burden for the lost in our community as well as around the world. If you would like more information about these classes please feel free to ask.

Fellowship for Young Couples

God has blessed our church with many young couples and children. Over the past few months our young adults have been encouraged and are becoming more and more excited about following Christ in their daily lives. You too can come learn and grow with us. We love worshipping together on Sundays and Wednesdays but also meet together often for bible studies, fellowship and times of fun and games as well.

Above all our desire is to follow Christ with all our hearts and to encourage and help one another to stay focused on what is most important in this life and that is serving God, helping others and loving our families.

So if you are looking for a church home come and grow and learn with us! We want to help as many as we can to find comfort and contentment in Christ. God bless you and we hope to see you soon.

Lessons and Carols
